The Overwatch Transhuman Arms (OTA):
The Overwatch Soldiers are well trained and skilled Soldiers used by the Union on Earth. They get deployed into the City when the Civil Protection unable to handle the situation. They are well organized in combat.
How to act as an OTA Soldier:
While playing Overwatch you have to stick to the rules and act without emotions. These Units are fully brainwash and only following Commands given by their Superiors. You need to act in combat the best way you can to make you look like a real Soldier. You need to be very tactical and effective.
Rules:
-Overwatch engage target on sight. You can start firing without /me but you have to inform the Squad on the radio.
-Overwatch only talk on Radio with each other.
-At melee range you have to disarm and capture your opponent. Thats the basic rule. Other action depends on the current Command.
-In a firefight (S2M/S2K) they kill their target. Again, depends on the current Command.
-Shoot to Miss (S2M) to make the fight balanced.
-You only have permission to go on the Streets when your Squad deployed. You can patrol the Nexus freely. (To get some tokens and it will look more HL2 like)
Overwatch Squads:
OW always work in Squads, you have to stick with your squadmates. Protect each other and watch your Teams back. Depends on current Command.
Overwatch Tactic:
Soldiers always move at the best cover they find in the area. On the streets stay close to the walls. If you are front of your Squadmate(s) always duck. If you are meleeing or rushing towards the enemy, you don't have to stay low. OW prefer ambushing.
Current Squads, Roles, Equipments:
KING, Elite Overwatch (EOW): Command, Support units, weapon: AR2
NOVA, Standard Overwatch Soldier (OW): Support units, weapon: MP7 (SMG)
MACE, Assaulter Overwatch (OW): Rush down enemy, 1. unit who goes in on breaching, weapon: SPAS12 (Shotgun)
Additional gear can be carryd by each unit. (Grenades,locks etc.)
